A living circle between the walks. A place to stay in touch, to remember, and to remind each other. A place where what was felt can stay alive, find its way into daily life, and continue to take shape together.
For many people, what they experience in these walks is something they may only encounter once in their lives. La Familia is a place to stay connected with the people they shared that experience with — to keep that sense of closeness alive and to continue sharing. Sometimes, new walks emerge from that connection. It is also a place for those who haven’t joined yet but feel curious. A way to hear the stories directly from the people who lived them, to imagine what it might feel like, and to sense whether something in it speaks to them.
Each month, we begin with a lived story. A moment from a walk, told by someone who was there.
That story takes us to a place: sometimes a country, sometimes a harvest: and it shapes how the month unfolds.
From there, we share what belongs to that place: stories, ways of seeing, music, teachings, sometimes even recipes.
There are always practices: for the body or the mind: and moments to reflect. Occasionally, we gather live.
Stay close to the stories, sounds, practices, and places that continue between the walks.
